2025 - The first crop of 2021 Hambletonian Winner Captain Corey t,3,1:51f $1,090,333 was well received at sales in 2024 with eleven individuals selling for $100,000 and above including Ellie Hanover for $300,000 at Harrisburg. Initial reports from trainers have been positive.
Svanstedt Stable purchased 9 yearlings by Captain Corey and had the following to say-“Like them all. They broke well, are good gaited, smart, and sensible. We wish we had more Captain Corey's.”
Anthony MacDonald states- “We have fifty babies who will soon be in full training. Four are Captain Corey's; thus far they all have broken nicely, learn quickly and enjoy their work.”
Mike Wilder said of Avianna Hanover –“She is good gaited and has a great attitude.”
Captain Corey stands his third season at Hanover Shoe Farms for $8,500 in 2025.
