Superchamp Hanover (Sweet Lou-So Brave Hanover) was 3rd.

Swig Hanover (Papi Rob Hanover-Stolly Up Bluechip) p,1:53.2f Tim Tetrick triumphed with the Darran Cassan pupil leaving from post 5 first over past the ¼ in 28.3, setting off all timers 58, 1:25.4 with a 27.3 final panel to keep the win by a head over Captaintreacherous sired Ringin The Captain. It was Swig’s second straight victory in as many starts for owners Jessica and Cayla Cassar, Barry Charles, Robert Muscara and William Rochetti Jr. with $20,250 banked.

Ronnie Wren Jr. wrought 2nd to the ½ then took control with a 1:26 ¾ and kicked in to win with a 27.1 final panel for trainer Ron Burke.

Barbuda Belle (Captaintreacherous-Uffizi Hanover) p,1:53.4f Maiden win first start off the gate for owners Thomas & Scott Dillon and Craig Henderson. Trained by Ron Burke and driven by Yannick Gingras, the freshman pacer didn’t settle for 2nd and popped to the top opening up by 3 lengths with a 27.2 LQ. Tall Dark Stranger sired Kissin In The Dark was 2nd.
Whispering Angel (Captaintreacherous-Angel On Earth) p,1:55.2f Scott Zeron zipped to the engine from post 1 and never looked back with the Tony Alagna trainee claiming her maiden start. Riverview Racing LLC and Steven Head own the freshman pacer. Stay Hungry sired Flippin Liz was 2nd.

Endurance (Captain Corey-Love Session) t,1:54.3f Andrew McCarthy made a big move three wide past the ¼ in 27.3 with the Chris Beaver trainee and opened up by 3-1/2 lengths across the finish line in the freshman trotter’s maiden win. Beaver co-owns with Bill Manes and Mark Moger.
First Crop Sire Captain Corey currently ranks 3rd in Two-Year-Old Trotting Sires Money Earnings with $216,628 (USTA as of 7-8-25).

Greenhorn (Greenshoe-Cee Bee Yes) 3YOFT t,1:56.3f First win of 2025 for the Michael Eaton Jr. and Robert Griffin owned trotter (11 starts-1-5-5). Piloted by Matthew Athearn for trainer Mark Eaton, Greenhorn found another gear shooting past the ¾ first over and ahead by 5 lengths into the stretch he claimed the wire by 3-1/2 lengths over the field.

Seaworthy Hanover (Captaintreacherous-Shortstory Hanover) 3YOGP p,1:51.2f First win of 2025 and new career mark! Andrew McCarthy drove for trainer Jake Leamon and owner Marvin Rouck sitting a perfect pocket trip and launching a 27.1 last quarter to cross the wire first by 1-1/4 lengths.

Papi Rob Hanover sired Say Goodnight was 2nd and Tall Dark Stranger sired Kissedbyastranger was 3rd.
Bahama Momma (Tall Dark Stranger-Idyllic Beach) p,1:51.4f Maiden win with Scott Zeron in the bike for Joe Bongiorno and owners Let It Ride Stables Inc. and Odds On Racing. Leaving from post 4 Zeron took the ¼ timers first in 27.4 passed twice to sit third through mid-fractions then blazing a 26.2 kicker to clear the finish a half length in front. Stay Hungry sired Spoon Fed was 2nd after leading from the 1/2.

Joyful Hanover (Always B Miki-JK Mollys Delight) 2YOFP p,1:55.1f Maiden win. Ronnie Wren Jr. left with the Ron Burke trainee setting off all timers. Leading by 5 lengths into the stretch Joyful maintained 3-1/4 ahead of Tequila Sheila (by Stay Hungry) at the finish line. Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, William Switala and James Martin own the freshman filly.

It was Pilar’s first victory of the season (5 starts-1-2-2) with $22,280 banked thus far and $117,204 Lifetime.
